A return by popular demand of Leroy Van Dyke will be the entertainment for the annual Furnas County Livestock Association “Wives Night” to be held in the Arapahoe High School gym on Monday night January 12.
The original amount for the Elwood Elementary School bond to build the elementary school was $233,000 with interest of $69,096.
The popular club at Johnson Lake, Sportsman Paradise, is under new management, Joyce Anderson of Kearney has purchased from Harold Bulst who has been the operator for the past few months.
Preliminary plans for a new swimming pool in Elwood were presented to the Village Board Monday evening. Architect Paul Mousel of a McCook firm has made the survey and plans.
