PRAIRIE PINES
On Sunday, December 13, those who watched Pastor Becky Saddler’s Methodist Church video in the Prairie Pines parlor were Stella Busch, Lorrie Anderson, Nathi Ahrens, Opal Coakley, Emma Crawford and Lelia Haussler. Tom Whipple played guitar and sang during the church service. He sang “A Baby is Born” referring to the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
On Sunday evening Cheryl Ahrens and other member sof Arapahoe Unired Methodist Women’s group delivered cookie plates to the women members living at Prairie Pines. They delivered to Stella Busch, Lorrie Anderson, Emma Crawford, Mary Lou Wineland and Lelia Haussler.
Several residents of Prairie Pines watched the Nebraska vs. Minnesota footbal game on TV on Saturday. They watched the game in their own apartments.
Forty percent chance of snow was predicted for Sunday, December 13 and snow is forecast for Tuesday, December 15. Are we going to have a white Christsmas? We talked about how much snow we had when we were kids. Of course that was a few years ago.
Residents participated intheir usual activities, cards, etc. during the week. Pastor Moshier from Trinity church led a bible study.
