KEARNEY – Graduate and undergraduate degrees will be conferred for 405 winter graduates at University of Nebraska at Kearney commencement exercises 10 a.m. Friday (Dec. 16) at UNK’s Health and Sports Center. Candidates for degrees are listed below in three groups: graduates from Nebraska, graduates from across the United States and international graduates.

Sunshine Village residents enjoyed their annual Christmas party on Wednesday. They experienced a delicious meal, gift exchange and musical entertainment.

Arapahoe Public School had another incredible book fair and reached their goal of 225 books! Students cheered on Mr. Ellis as he cruised through the hallway in celebration! Warrior readers are leaders!

An informational meeting regarding Homecare Co-op formation was held at Prairie Pines on Tuesday, December 6th out of interest and support of aging and disabled residents in our Republican Valley communities following the closure of the Good Samaritan nursing facility in December 2021.

Cindy Bowers attended the 4th birthday party on Sunday for Colton Hamel at the Holbrook Community Building. Dee Glanzer and Jeanne Schroeder attended the Minden Community Concert at the Presbyterian Church and the soup supper that followed.
