The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors. The staff will continue to make your visit here, either while participating in the activities or eating our noon meal, as positive and enjoyable as can be. Thanks for your support.

Big game meetings scheduled across Nebraska

Hunters and landowners are encouraged to offer their feedback on big game issues during the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s public information meetings this winter. Three-hour meetings are scheduled in each Game and Parks district.

Elwood School Board President Bill Brell Honored

ELWOOD – President Bill Brell, who is retiring after serving three four-year terms on the school board, was presented a plaque on behalf of the school district by Vice President Jeff Moore during the monthly meeting on December 12, 2022. New officers will be elected and installed during the January meeting.
