The Cambridge Lions inducted 5 new members into their club and held a welcome ceremony with the District Governor on March 8. Lions is an international organization with over 1.2 million members around the globe supporting their local communities and global causes. The Golden Generation Center is holding an Event Gala Fundraiser event on March 20. Doors are set to open at 6:3o pm. A Prime Rib dinner will be served at 7:30p.m.. There will be seven local dancing groups performing for pride and a trophy during dining. Complete Weddings and Events will be providing music entertainment after the show for open floor dancing to the public. The doors will reopen to the public at 9 p.m. for those interested in dancing, but not dining. A silent auction will be on the west side of the Hilltop room, for guests to bid big and help the Golden Generation center fund the much needed roof repairs. Tickets will not be available at the door for this event. The Long Branch Bar will be serving drinks independently throughout the night, for a fun evening.
