Annually, the Cambridge Lions Club leads a food and toy drive for those who are in need. The effort reaches over 6o households to nine different communities in our area. This project is possible through the generous donations of many individuals, organizations, churches, and groups. This year we expect an increased demand for assistance. The project is asking for your financial support again this year.

$17,000 of stolen property recovered in Arapahoe

ARAPAHOE - Through collaboration with a number of other sheriffs departments, the Furnas County Sheriffs Office executed a search warrant in Arapahoe two weeks ago and recovered approximately $17,000 in stolen property.

10 years ago Members of the Arapahoe Boy Scouts Troop 238hgad a busy Sunday preparing, cooking, and serving pancakes to approximately 200 people. On Sunday the First United Methodist Church held their Lord’s Acre potluck and dinner and auction held at EMCC.
