Body 2021! Now to remember to write that instead of 2020. It didn’t seem to take long to get into the swing of writing 2020 so hope this old mind can process 2021 as quickly. Everyone seems to be looking forward to the new year with optimism.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Three residents of Cambridge’s Harvest Meadows subdivision have filed a lawsuit in Furnas County District Court to appeal the Cambridge City Council’s decision to grant a Conditional Use Permit for a lot in Harvest Meadows.

Body As the calendar rolls over into a new year, 2020 can be remembered for one more thing - another drought. All of Frontier, Furnas, Gosper and Red Willow counties are now in extreme drought as well as large portions of Harlan and Phelps counties.

Body What a beautiful day we had for Christmas. COVID-19 has prevented lots of gatherings, but at least the weather made safe outdoor visits possible. Mid-50’s temps on Christmas Day were awesome. But, Covid did still curtail the usual big family gatherings.
