Lions Christmas Project another success

Cambridge Lions, in partnership with Bartley and Holbrook Lions and the Knights of Columbus from Indianola, met on Saturday, 12/19/20, to deliver boxes of food, gift cards, and toys to 50 families in our communities.

What a beautiful day we had for Christmas. COVID-19 has prevented lots of gatherings, but at least the weather made safe outdoor visits possible. Mid-50’s temps on Christmas Day were awesome. But, Covid did still curtail the usual big family gatherings.

{GOSPER COUNTY SENIOR CENTER }

The Gosper County Senior Center is NOT open for congregate meals for the remainder of the month of December. The Gosper County Senior Center will continue to serve meals for delivery or pick-up. We are following the guidelines that WCNAAA has suggested for our Center.

Oxford Lighting contest winners

Oxford - The winners of the Oxford Chamber of Commerce sponsored Christmas decorating contest were first - Tom and Joyce Schoenfelder winning $150, second - Ron and Tish Meyer winning $100, third - Robin Bunce winning $50. Winners were chosen by a public vote. Pictured top is the Schoenfelder home.
