Medicine Valley Re-Establishing Beef Lunch Program

CURTIS - During the monthly meeting on November 10, 2025, the Medicine Valley School Board green lit the re-establishment of the Beef Lunch Program with a local volunteer committee of six. The program provides locally grown and processed beef as part of the school lunch program. 0 The board approved the district’s audit as the only formal agenda item.

Medicine Valley Awarded $500,000 Federal COPS Grant for Security

CURTIS -Medicine Valley Public Schools received a matching grant through the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) under the School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP).

The district match is $166,667, bringing the total project investment to $666,667.

The three-year project that is expected to be fully completed by September 2028 includes replacing doors and windows to enhance security and safety and installing a campus-wide security camera system covering both interior and exterior areas of all buildings.
