CAROLYN KARASH

Carolyn Karash, 68 of Kearney passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church in Kearney with Pastor Clarence Patterson officiating. Interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge, NE. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Carolyn M. Karash was born December 14, 1952 in Cambridge, Nebraska to Ambrose and Wilda (Bassford) Karash. She grew up in Cambridge and received her education from Cambridge High School, graduating with the class of 1971. Carolyn then attended Grand Island School of Business. She moved to Kearney in 1972 where she worked at Baldwin Filters and Rockwell International. She later attended Hasting Central Community College. Carolyn was a caregiver for a short time and then owned and operated a cleaning business for many years.

Carolyn enjoyed reading and flowers. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in Kearney.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Marilyn Karash of Kearney; brother, Dennis Karash of Cambridge; special cousin, Mary Martin of Arapahoe; as well as many extended family and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
