Funeral services for Dr. Cynthia Jane Kahle (“Cindy”) was held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the St.

John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Eric Souer offi ciating. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was laid to rest beside her parents, John F. Kahle M.D. and Rosemary Mitchell Kahle in the Oxford Cemetery following the service.

Dr. Cynthia Jane Kahle (“Cindy”), age 68, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by her family following a courageous battle against an extended illness. Cindy is survived by her two younger sisters, Tamela Kahle Hatcher (Scott) and Jana Kahle Potenza (Austin) and her niece Krista Kahle Potenza.

Cindy was born in San Bernardino, California and lived with her family for many years in Flagstaff, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education; her Master of Arts degree in Education-Special Education; her Master of Arts degree in Education – Educational Administration; and, her Doctor of Education - Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University.

Cindy taught elementary, middle and high school in Big Bear, California; Kingman, Arizona; and Las Vegas, Nevada. The Board of School Trustees of the Clark County School District of Nevada appointed Cynthia to the positions of Dean of Students Indian Springs Junior/Senior High School, and to Assistant Principal Elementary Education Division.

Cindy was a licensed private pilot, and enjoyed making silver jewelry, weaving, cooking and spending time in her garden growing roses and various types of fruits and vegetables. She was a beloved aunt to her niece by making every holiday extraordinary, took attentive care of her elderly parents, and was a friend to all cats. Her creativity, generosity, kind heart and love for her family will be deeply missed.
