Elizabeth Traill

A memorial service for Elizabeth Traill will be held at a later date.

Elizabeth Julia “Liz” (Debban) Traill, 68 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Liz was born on September 11, 1954, in Holdrege, the third of four children, born to Orvin and Twyla (Hinz) Debban. Liz received her primary education from Arapahoe Public School and later Holdrege High School, graduating with the class of 1972.

Liz worked at BD for over 20 years.

She will be remembered for her smile and kind heart and by her many friends.

Liz enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and travel club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Frances Debban; sister, Antoinette T. “Toni” Williams; step-brother, Wesley Mues; and one brotherin- law: Terry Draper.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Draper of Edison, Nebraska; brother, Orvin Debban of Holdrege, Nebraska; aunt, Audrey (Debban) Ems of Holland, Michigan; two step-brothers: Robert Mues and his wife, Roxie of Grand Island, Nebraska; and Victor Mues and wife, Anna of Chapman, Nebraska; step-sister-in-law, Dwana Mues of Kearney, Nebraska; close friend, Janet Arford of Holdrege, Nebraska; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and many friends.

There will be no visitation, viewing, or memorial book signing the evening prior to the service.

The family has honored Liz’s wish for cremation.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Liz’s honor and kindly suggested to a local cancer center of your choice.
