He had always been a fighter. After 349 days in the NICU Gunnar finally made it home to celebrate his first birthday in true style with a Friday the 13th themed party.

Gunnar loved spending time with his cousins out on the family farm in Stockville, NE. The Kearney Area Children’s Museum was his favorite place to play and learn.

Gunnar loved spending time in the great outdoors and every animal was his favorite. Gunnar was always his dad’s right hand man, ready to help with anything and everything. He had his dad’s sense of humor which was evident by his favorite book “Who Pooped on Me?”. Gunnar loved to go to the store and on stroller rides with mom and snuggle up with her and watch Sing, Sing 2, Bad Guys, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me 4, and Shrek 2. You couldn’t leave without having watched one or all of them when you went to visit. Gunnar’s laugh and smile were contagious and always brought joy and sunshine.
