JANICE A. BLINCOW

Janice A. (Hedstrom) Blincow, Age 88, formerly of Oxford Ne., passed away on January 11th, 2025 after a brief illness at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln Ne. She was most recently living in Ashland Ne. Janice was born on March 8th, 1936 in Holdrege Ne. to Vincent and Garnet (Rydlund) Hedstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mark and son Steve. She is survived by daughters Brenda Thulin and Shelly Fastenau; sons Ken and Ron, brother Dennis Hedstrom; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Janice was a retired Postmaster in Oxford.

She loved camping around the state of Nebraska with Mark, reading, doing word puzzles, and especially garage sales. Anyone who knew her also knew that she loved her cats, and collected hundreds of cat figurines over the years.

Her final resting place will be at the Oxford Cemetery.
