LINDA N. FISHER

Linda N. (Floro) Fisher, age 65, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Curtis, Nebraska.

Linda was born on May 24, 1960. At the age of ten, Linda moved in with Walter and Dixie Fritsche, who she came to call her parents.

Throughout her life, Linda was known for her caring heart, strong work ethic, and deep devotion to her family.

Linda dedicated many years to caring for others through her work as a CNA. She started at Sunset Haven, later working in Cambridge, where she served residents with compassion and kindness for 14 years. Linda eventually returned to Curtis where she continued her calling in healthcare at Senior Living Choices, working there until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

Linda loved to go fishing and found joy in the outdoors. Family was the center of her life, and her godson, Marshall, was truly her world. She treasured time spent with family and especially enjoyed watching Marshall and her nephews participate in sporting events. Linda was also a devoted Nebraska Cornhuskers fan and enjoyed cheering them on whenever she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; sister Kathy.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Gary Fisher, sister, Deb ( Jim) Cacy of McCook, Brothers, Lester Matson of Ute, IA, Wayne (Georgie) Fritsche of Friend, NE and godson Marshall Krupicka of Curtis.

A memorial service took place on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Vineyard Church in Curtis with Pastor Brian Nicklas offi ciating.
