A Memorial Service for Randy Fecht was held on Monday, November 13 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska, with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating. An inurnment followed at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Nebraska.

Randal Jensen “Randy” Fecht, 67 years of age, of Oxford, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Randy was born on October 25, 1956, in Alma, Nebraska, the second of four children, born to Behrend “Ben” and Mary Lou (Riley) Fecht.

He received his education from Oxford Public Schools and later attended and graduated from Oxford High School, with the class of 1975.

Following his education, Randy pursued higher education from Hastings Tech for automotive repair.

On March 4, 1980, Randy was united in marriage to Carol A.

The couple was blessed with two children: Kimberly and James. The family made their home in Oxford. Together the family enjoyed spending time together.

became a self-employed labor worker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years, and liked racing and Husker Football.

Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Carol in 2019; his father, Ben Fecht; one niece, Leisa Kehl; two brothersin- law, Ronnie Loader, in infancy; and Darrel Loader.

Randy is survived by his children: Kimberly Travis and her husband, Richard of Lone Oak, Texas; and James Fecht and his wife, Sheri Evans of Holdrege, Nebraska; two grandchildren: Samantha Winters and Joshua Travis; five greatgrandchildren: Stormie-Ann Winters; Elizabeth Winters; Rebecca Winters; Logan Winters; and Jason Travis; mother, Mary Fecht of Amherst; brother, Ron Fecht of Amherst; sisters: Roxie Gibb and her husband, Rick of Atlanta, Nebraska; and Rae Lynn Johnson and her husband, Jeff of Amherst; sisterin- law, Linda Stirrett and her husband, Ralph of Clay Center, Kansas; two brothers-in-law: Bob Loader and his wife, Jerrie of Clay Center; and Charles Loader; along with a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will not be a visitation or viewing.

A memorial has been established in Randy’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
