WENDELL E. MARTIN

Wendell Eugene Martin, age 69, of Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on June 19, 1952 in Norton Kansas to Leroy and Pearl (Teeters) Martin.

He lived southeast of Beaver City, Nebraska and graduated on May 26, 1971, at Beaver City High School in Beaver City, Nebraska. He proudly served in The United States Navy.

Wendell had been a truck driver in the late 1970’s and was known on the road as “Crazy”. He was a hardworking and you could always find him working outside in the yard and cutting grass.

Survivors include his daughter April Dawn Nagel; son Christo pher Martin, daughter Shaunine Martin, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many stepsons and stepdaughters and stepgrandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers; David & (Keri) Martin of Omaha, Nebraska, Roger Martin of Oxford, Nebraska, Calvin Martin of Beaver City, Nebraska and Melvin (Gail) Martin of Beaver City, Nebraska. He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandfather Ross Martin, grandmother Elva Martin and grandfather Ray Teeters and grandmother Iva Pearl Teeters.
