Alice Faye (Macy) Kasson was born September 12, 1941, to Rex and Estel (Hoppas) Macy. She was raised with her older sister, Phyllis, six miles south of Oberlin, KS until 1949, when her family moved to Danbury, Nebraska where her father farmed three miles northeast of town. She graduated at age 16 with Danbury High School’s last senior class in 1958, and attended McCook Community College, earning an associate degree in Elementary Education.

Greta Mae (Gardner) Roethemeyer, 89, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was born on September 5, 1934 to Clyde and Violet (Murphy) Gardner in Quick, Nebraska, the fifth of six children.
