2022-2023 Football district assignments announced

LINCOLN - The NSAA released high school football district assignments for the 2022 and 2023 seasons Tuesday.

Schools will now submit out-of-district opponent wish lists to the NSAA, which will then formulate schedules for the next two seasons. Those will be released February 9.

Four of the coverage area’s five teams fit into the D1-9 Distict along with Alma.

Southwest was assigned the D6-4 District along with Arthur County, Brady, Paxton, Wallace and Wauneta-Palisade.
