Arapahoe rolls past Wilcox-Hildreth

WILCOX - With scoring outbursts in the second and third quarters, the Arapahoe boys basketball team rolled to a 61-31 victory at Wilcox-Holdrege Thursday.

The Warriors trailed 10-7 after a quarter, but the offense came to life in the second with a 20-point explosion, leaping the Warriors into a 27-17 lead at the half.

Arapahoe didn’t stop there as they scored 20 more in the third to take a 20-point lead to the fourth, up 47-27. From there, the Warriors rolled to the finish in a 30-point win.

Cooper Wendland scored 18 and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Warriors while Tyler Miller scored 12 and grabbed five boards. Andre Wasenius abs Campbell Schutz each scored nine and Wasenius grabbed 11 rebounds and added six steals and three assists. Grant Taylor scored seven and had five boards while dishing three assists and swiping three steals.
