Hi-Line takes down Vikings

BERTRAND- Tuesday evening the Hi-Line Bulls traveled down highway 23 to Bertrand to take on the Vikings. The Bulls played a solid game, winning 45-33. To start out, it was touch and go for both teams as Bertrand had 10 turnovers and Hi-Line had eight. The Bulls led at the end of the first though 9-8.

In the second quarter, the Bulls were able to increase their lead as they went into the intermission up 23-15. In the third period, Bertrand came out rolling as they put up fourteen points to Hi-Line's seven, to trail 30-29 going into the final quarter.

In the final quarter, junior Whitney Dickau took over for the Bulls as she poured in seven points to pull away from the Vikings. Dickau led all scorers with 19 points on the evening. The Bulls' defense was too much for the Vikings as they forced 30 turnovers on the night. The Bulls move to 2-3 on the season, Bertrand falls to 0-4.
