Southern Valley boys fall to Overton

SOUTHERN VALLEY - A tough shooting night and an explosive second half from visting Overton proved to be too much for the Southern Valley boys basketball team Saturday.

The Eagles dropped the contest to Overton, 65-33 after trailing 25-16 at the break.

Overton scored 20 in the third and 20 more in the fourth to blow the game open while Southern Valley managed 24 percent shooting form the field.

Kamden Bose scored 10 to lead the Eagles while Matt Henderson added eight points. Isaak McPhillamy and Kody Collins each scored five.

Collins grabbed five rebounds for the Eagles and Bose, Mitch Wilson and Rian Grove each secured four. Henderson had five steals and Bose and McPhillamy each dished two assists.
