DWEE awards grants to Arapahoe, Oxford

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment (DWEE) has announced the award of more than $537,000 in Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funding to eight Nebraska communities.

Elwood Student Earns Distinguished Young Women Scholarship

Elwood High School Senior Kara Brockman qualifi ed and participated in the Distinguished Young Women of Nebraska scholarship program on Sunday, July 12 at Bennington High School. Brockman received a $500 cash scholarship as one of two Creative Arts Essay winners.
