Maywood District Looking ahead to Summer Projects

Body MAYWOOD – During the monthly Maywood School Board meeting on Monday, April 13, social studies teacher, Colby Hamilton, gave an American Civics Report on the results of the annual immigration test given to high school seniors.

Body The Village of Bartley will be celebrating 140 years early this summer. A historical talk will be given at the Bartley Library on May 3, 2026 at 2:00PM. Historian Kevin Mc-Gregor will present a program of history about Bartley and Red Willow County.

McCook Community College Paint-In

Body A team of high school artists from Norton claimed the team title Friday at McCook Community College’s 51st annual Paint-In Competition. Also the results of the Paint-In exhibition were announced and McCook High School’s Hanna Huff received this year’s “Best of Show” award.

Invention Convention participants

Body Arapahoe had 10 students attend Invention Convention at the Holdrege Prairie Museum recently. The 6th grade team of Emma Houser and Neligh Robinson earned 3rd place in their circle with their invention of The Broom Buddy.
