The Southern Valley Board of Education voted 5 – 0 to dissolve their co-op for cross country with Alma school during their Monday, November 8 meeting. The board heard from Superintendent Bryce Jorgenson, Southern Valley cross country coach Kristi Bose and some parents and students.

Southern Valley High School held their annual Fall Fine Arts Festival on Tuesday, Nov 2. The evening began with a performance of the one act play, Marmalade Gumdrop. The evening also had performances from the junior high and high school choirs as well as the high school band.
