Volunteers needed for Improvement project at Homerville Cemetery

I will be at the Homerville Cemetery on Thursday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. and Friday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. and would welcome anyone that can help straighten a tombstone or reset a tombstone or fix a fence. Also, the cemetery is always open, so a person can visit there anytime the dirt road is dry.

Registrations still open for Food Safety Training

Registrations are still being accepted for the ServSafe Food Handler Food Safety Training Course to be held in three locations in western Nebraska next month. Courses are scheduled for: McCook — Tuesday, March 23, at the Community Building, Fairgrounds, West 5th & O Street, McCook from 1:00 p.m.

School board met and approved retirement of Jeff Lehr

The Cambridge School Board met in a special meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 7:30 am. They approved the retirement of Jeff Lehr. Superintendent Greg Shepard thanked Lehr for his 32 years of service at Cambridge Public Schools and congratulated him on his retirement.

Cambridge Rotary Club Global Grant Project

The Cambridge Rotary Club was an International Partner of a Global Grant Project in Bangalore, India for pediatric heart surgeries. The Club was grateful and proud to be a part of this global humanitarian project.

Oxford Board looks at trash truck bids

Oxford - The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees met on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7 pm. The meeting was called to order by Mike Minarik. Clint McQuiston and Chad Cunningham were absent from the meeting.
