Orleans - The Orleans Hotel Bed and Breakfast and the Cordelia B. Preston Memorial Library in Orleans have both passed a stage on the path to inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places.

Funds remain for Rehab!!!! The Village of Oxford has funds remaining for the owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program to rehabilitate 5 homes within the municipal limits of Oxford. Homeowners must live in the home and be income qualified.

The Harlan County Caring Cupboard received a nice donation this past week. Food was collected from members of the Harlan/Furnas Farm Bureau Federation at their annual meeting on January 22, 2021.
