Body Funeral Services were held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Christ’s Church at Lillian with Don Schauda officiating. Burial followed in the Gates Cemetery at Gates, NE.

Body LaVonne June (Aden) Banzhaf was born June 14, 1935 to Emil and Judith (Bratten) Aden at their home. LaVonne graduated from Gothenburg High School.

Body William “Bill” Lee Shearer, age 68, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska. He was born on May 14, 1955, at Norton, Kansas, to Leroy William and Merna Marie (Brand) Shearer.

Body “Trish” Houser, age 72, passed away at the Bertrand Care Center in Bertrand, NE on January 20, 2024. She was born in Cozad on May 31, 1951, to David and Betty (Selk) Frew. Trish attended school in Cozad, graduating from Cozad High School in 1969.
