July 21, 2021 (Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced that, forthe first time, hay harvesting permit applications for the public will be accepted through an online application portal beginning July 30 at 7:00 a.m. CDT.

The Nebraska Archaeological Society (NAS) will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 1:30 PM at the Alice M. Farr Library, 1603 L St., Aurora, NE. All meetings of the NAS are open to the general public and everyone interested in archaeology is encouraged to attend. The NAS has members from all areas of Nebraska and several surrounding states and welcomes all interested persons to attend this meeting.
