Esprit de Corps concert scheduled Tuesday for Cambridge

Esprit de Corps is a performing arts group based out of Lincoln Berean Church. The name means a common spirit of enthusiasm and devotion among members of a group. This group is devoted to the gospel of Jesus. Esprit is made up of around 75 high school students from over 25 different churches, representing many different denominations and several southeast Nebraska high schools.

The Oxford 10U softball team finished league champion Sunday afternoon, defeating Axtell in the finals. The Arapahoe 14U softball team finished runner-up at the league tournament, falling 2-1 to Axtell in the championship.

Nebraska Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley visited Cambridge Wednesday to assist with a ribon-cutting on Cambridge’s newly-renovated pool as well as visits to other businesses. Nebraska’s Department of Economic Development provided a $310,000 grant otward the roughly $1.5 million pool project.
