Village of Oxford discusses clinic building

Body
The Village of Oxford Board discussed the Northwest Village Center building during their meeting on Monday, June 20. The building houses the clinic and physical therapy as well as some other office space. Clerk Becky Calderone shared an email with the board from Harlan County Health. It stated they did not feel they could contribute any money toward repairs. Board Chairman Clint McQuiston said he feels the clinic is looking to get more money from the Village. McQuiston also said he feel the Village has fulfilled their part of any agreement. He also said the Village cut the rate they were paying the clinic when they reduced hours. He has been checking and learned that Arapahoe get paid by their provider for the facilities they use where as Oxford pays a provider $1000 per month currently. Trustee Scott Hamilton also said with the numbers they were given at the last meeting, they seem to be meeting the number of patients needed for the hours they are actually there.
