Body ELM CREEK - The Southern Valley wrestling teams had strong days at the Elm Creek Invite Friday as the boys team took secon din the 17-team field while the girls finished third out of 19 teams. Both teams scored over 100 points.

Body DUNNING - With six medalists, the Cambridge wrestling team finished second at the Sandhills/Thedford Invite Saturday. Dierks Sayer took recorded four first-period pins on his way to the title at 144 while Carter Hanes (150) and Charlie Houser (126) each finished second.

Body GRAND ISLAND - the Arapahoe girls bowling team battled through bracket play and took the team title at the Grand Island Invite Saturday. The Warriors defeated Grand Island 3-1 in the championship match, rolling games of 171, 154, 132 and closing with a 193.
