The Indianola City Council met on Monday, June 16. After approving the June 2nd meeting minutes, the council heard from James Blume during public comment.

(Grand Island, Neb.) – Central Community College has announced the names of full-time students who earned spots on the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the 2025 spring semester. The students were enrolled at one or more CCC locations, which include the Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses and the Holdrege, Kearney, Lexington and Ord centers.

The class of 1980 recently gathered to celebrate 45 years since graduating from CHS. They ate a fabulous meal at Town Talk Saturday evening of Memorial weekend with 14 classmates. The following day the group met at the park for a picnic with several former teachers joining to reminisce. That evening 7 classmates attended the All school Reunion at the municipal gym in the elementary.
