Tour de Nebraska to ride through area next week

Body A total of 350 cyclists on the 37st Annual Tour de Nebraska bicycle adventure will roll out of Curtis on Wednesday, June 25 and travel five days to Elwood, Cambridge and McCook. As always, it is important for motorists and cyclists to use extra caution on the road.

New Lead Testing Services for Young Children

Body Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) is pleased to announce a new service for families in the region: free capillary blood lead level testing for children ages 1 to 5 years old. This testing is now available by appointment at SWNPHD offices in McCook and Ogallala.
