Body The Southwest Public Schools Board of Education met for their second meeting of the summer on July 14th. After excusing one absent board member, Brooke Brooks, and approving the agenda, the board recognized visitors during public comment.

Body Prior to the Maywood school board’s monthly meeting on July 14, two public hearings regarding policies on student fees (policy #5045) and parental involvement (policy #5018) were held. The board subsequently adopted policy revisions.

Body ARAPAHOE - During the July 15 City Council meeting, members of the museum board addressed the council regarding the condition of the museum building and possible remedies for repair and upkeep.

Body Rocky Sander was sworn in as a new board member during the Oxford Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, July 14 at 5:30 pm. Sander will fill the remaining term of Chad Cunningham. Cunningham resigned from the board due to a move.
