LINCOLN, NE (06/15/2026)-- More than 6,200 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ List for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year. Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.

Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its spring 2026 semester. For the semester, 327 students from 21 states and 8 countries were named to the Dean’s List.

LINCOLN, NE (06/15/2026)-- Nearly 500 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ Commendation List for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year. The Commendation List recognizes students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Sciences, College of Engineering and/or College of Journalism and Mass Communications who met or exceeded a specified gradepoint average and carried six to 11 graded semester hours.

A positive case of rabies in an animal has been reported to Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD). This positive rabies test was from a dog in Perkins County. Rabies is a severe, rapidly progressing neurological disease. It spreads through saliva (spit), most commonly through contact with an infected wild animal.
