Gillian Sorenson received her Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from National University in San Diego, CA. She is the daughter of Barb and Tim Baca of Wilsonville and Eddie Park of Lebanon.

John Keener has joined the Cambridge Medical Clinic as a counseling consultant from the Holdrege office of South Central Counseling. He will be in the Cambridge office on Friday’s.
“I accept this honor on behalf of all my associates and the Southwest Nebraska Elementary Children,” said Cecil Williams, who was awarded the A.T. Hill archeology award during a banquet held at Lake Mahoney State Park on October 12.

Mary Lynn Walkington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Walkington Jr. Cambridge is one of 58 University of Nebraska student teachers in home economics education who have taken over junior high and secondary vocation in home economics instruction in several Nebraska communities for an 8-week period.
Allan Gaskill has announced the sale of the Job Printing Department of the Cambridge Clarion to Philip and Barbara Sherlock, owners of the Clyde Republican Newspaper, Clyde, Kansas. Sherlock’s business will operate in the east half of the Cambridge Clarion and will operate as Valley Printing Company.

Leonard Sayer, pictured with his 18 pound sugar beet measured 36½ inches circumference. The first year the farmers were allowed 10 acres and the next year there were 80 acres between Leonard Sayer, Jim Brown, Nelson Allen, and Bob Mills.
Three Cambridge High School boys Gary Kasson, Richard Haith, and Stanley Sexton, narrowly escaped death Friday night following the Cambridge-Elwood football game, when upon rounding a curve in the Elwood-Lexington highway; they came upon a car, which had stopped at the side of the road. The boys miraculously leaped to safety before the car toppled over the steep embankment, totally demolishing the car.
