ARAPAHOE – The city council held their bi-monthly meeting on May 6, 2025. Both City Superintendent Jerry Stevens and Councilman John Paulsen shared about preparing the park, ballfield, swimming pool, and golf course for summer activities.

Furnas County Sheriff ’s Report

4/23/25-Suspicious Activity, Beaver City, NE: The Furnas County Sheriff’s office recently conducted an investigation into allegations of a possible sexual assault involving a child. As part of the investigation, deputies conducted forensic interviews with the individuals involved. No disclosures were made during these interviews indicating any inappropriate behavior or unlawful conduct as this time. The investigation has concluded with no further action necessary.
