The meeting was called to order at 12:03 p.m. Open meeting laws noted in the City Office. Members Present: Tom Shoemaker, Darcy Johnson, Judy Jackson, Randy Heitmann, Jarod Albers Members Absent: Logan Baker, Jan ten-Bensel, Derek Downer, Jason Weiss Others Present: Melissa Jackson Consent Approval of Financials/Invoices and Minutes and Bills: The Board reviewed the November financials. A motion was made by Judy Jackson, seconded by Jarod Albers, to approve the financials. Motion carried.

Farnam Global Methodist Church Christmas Program

The Farnam Global Methodist Church will have their Christmas Program, “The Christmas Story” on Sunday, December 17th, at 9:25 a.m., followed by a Soup/finger food lunch at 12:00 noon and those who wish to, there will be Caroling around the town.

Coach Becker awarded McIntyre Watnam award

Coach Dexter Becker was awarded the McIntyre Watnam Award in memory of John Mc-Intyre and Brett Watnam. Becker was chosen for the award because he has the best interests of the students in mind, and because he has developed a strong and competitive wrestling program at Southern Valley.

Women, Infant & Children Program is the nation’s most successful and cost-effective public health nutrition program. They provide wholesome foods, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and community referrals for income-eligible women who are pregnant or postpartum, infants and children up to age five. They also offer support to anyone who cares for children under the age of 5-mothers, fathers, grandparents, foster parents, stepparents and guardians.

Miller & associates presents new city improvement plans to cambridge city council

Two Miller & Associates representatives proposed plans for improvements to the city, accompanied by cost estimates, to the Cambridge City Council on Monday. Chris Miller and Craig Bennett of Miller & Associates presented preliminary maps for the Harvest Meadows Redevelopment Plan, repairs to the city’s sewer plant and a new walking trail during the meeting at City Hall.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, with a mission to Remember, Honor and Teach, Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath- laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
