The Nebraska Forest Service will be hosting a free, spring Tree Care Workshop in Eustis on March 28th. The workshop is hosted by the Eustis Tree Board and will take place at the Fair Building on 110 East Alliston Street.

Weather permitting, a crack sealing project will begin March 11 on US-183, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Crack sealing is a process of cleaning and filling open joints and cracks in the surface with sealant to prevent the entry of moisture and debris.

The dump station at Johnson Lake State Recreation Area near Lexington will close in early March so it can be replaced by a new two-lane facility. Campers will have access to other nearby dump stations operated by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission during construction.
