Valley Voice to bring back Junior Reporter program

After utilizing a junior reporter program during the COVID shutdowns of 2020, the Valley Voice is announcing it will bring the program back for the summer of 2023. The program is open to any student in preschool through 12th grade, though students need not apply to be hired.

It has been 9 years since my medical school acceptance. I can describe my personal process in 2 words: arduous and lengthy. Now, this may not be the case for all people that apply to medical school. A few individuals may be able to apply directly out of undergrad and be accepted. I’ll speak from my experience which had a few more detours involved.

Medical care is essential for people in many stages of life, including expectant mothers. Bringing back the Great American Roadtrip

I despise what the automobile does to my children. A twentymile trip can transform my daughters into something that resembles Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist. My sons could entertain themselves together in perfect harmony for a monthstraight, but put them all together in the vehicle for a trip to town and Wrestlemania. Even my wife and I have a tendency to get edgy with each other after more than three hours together in a vehicle.

Farm Service Agency taking applications for Assistance with Disaster, Pandemic Revenue Losses

Lincoln, Nebraska, March 20, 2023 – Nebraska USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) is reminding agricultural producers of the availability of two financial assistance programs designed to address revenue losses associated with natural disasters and the pandemic. The Emergency Relief Program Phase 2 and the Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program (PARP) currently are both open for application at FSA offices across the state.

Beaver City Moving Forward with Summer Plans

BEAVER CITY – The City Council held their regular meeting on March 21. Several items were discussed including moving forward with plans for frisbee golf and the need to get camper dump station estimates.
