Southwest Public Schools will have their annual Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 11, at 9:30 a.m. The program will be held in the high school gym in Bartley. All veterans, community, family, and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.

Dale Schultz of Rotary District 5630 came to Cambridge Area Rotary Club meeting in October to tell us about his 3 year term on Rotary Legislature Council and how the process works. The Nebraska Board of Education is comprised of eight voting members who are elected to four-year terms in nonpartisan elections. Incumbent Robin Stevens from Gothenburg faces Elizabeth Tegtmeier from North Platte in the November 8 general election for the Dist. 7 seat.
