The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors.

Hunters of upland and small game, waterfowl, fall turkey and deer will receive emailed invitations to participate in surveys about their harvest and hunting experiences.

The Cambridge City Council met in regular session on Monday, February 21, 2022. Council Member Derek Rabrun was absent from the meeting. A Public Hearing was held to consider adding car and truck sales to “C-1” as a conditional use. The Public Hearing closed without comment.

ESU #11 sponsored the Annual Middle School Quiz Bowl at the Nebraska Prairie Museum in Holdrege on February 16th. Teams attending were Alma, Arapahoe, Axtell, Bertrand, Cambridge, Elwood, Eustis-Farnam, Franklin, Holdrege, Loomis, Minden, Southern Valley, and Wilcox-Hildreth.
