Pork Days September 25 and 26

Body Stamford’s 51 Pork Days will be on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday September 26 this year with the theme “Celebrating our Hometown Heroes”. Pork Days is sponsored by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce.

Oxford Library looks to start book club

Body The Oxford Public Library is looking for those interested in an adult book club. Books and genres read would be chosen by the book club members. The library director would lead the first meetings to get the club started until the group decides who should lead.

Kramer reaches plea deal in trafficking case

Body BEAVER CITY — Anothe rof those charged in the Furnas County sex trafficking investigation has reached a plea deal with prosecutors. Carl Kramer Sr., 50 of Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of child abuse, each a felony, in Furnas County District Court.
