Cambridge City Council met in regular session on Monday, July 19, 2021. All Council Members were present for the meeting. After approving the consent agenda, John Kutnink and Larry Maatsch spoke about the updated ambulance bid.

The Furnas County Fair wrapped up on Saturday with the demolition derby sponsored by the local Lion’s Clubs. In the trucks heat pictured above, Arapahoe’s Brandon Yeager took first, but not before needing some creative help to untangle the mess pictured above.

The Gosper County Fair will continue this Saturday the 24th with the 4-H horse show at 8:30 a.m. in the Phelps County Rodeo Arena.

BEAVER CITY - A Beaver City man who pleaded no contest to a count of first degree sexual assault was sentenced in Furnas County District Court Wednesday.

The Village of Oxford has funds remaining for the owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program to rehabilitate 5 homes within the municipal limits of Oxford. Homeowners must live in the home, have $25,000 equity in the home, carry homeowner insurance and be income qualified.
