DOROTHY J. CLASON

Dorothy Juanita Clason, age 85, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska. She was born on June 22, 1938 on the family farm to Wayne and Elsie (Christensen) Clason.

Dorothy grew up in the Beaver City area and graduated from Beaver City High School in the class of 1955. Shortly after, she was married to Robert Hyke and had three children. She enjoyed reading books, gardening, and bible study at the Christian Church in Beaver City.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Hyke, son Rick and daughter-in-law Jeri, daughter Pamela and granddaughter Mogan She is survived by her daughter Patricia and husband Jeff Westberg of Shelton, Nebraska, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at Hendley Cemetery at 1:30 pm with Warren Dunlap officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Condolences and personal reflections can be left at gareyfuneralhome.com.
