RoJean Betheen Lamprecht, age 77, of Weeping Water, NE passed away October, 19, 2021, at her home. She was born December 9, 1943 in Milford, NE, to Arthur and Lillie (Haussler) Liesing.

After graduating from Arapahoe High School, RoJean went on to further her education, becoming a Surgical Technician. Throughout her career, she worked at various hospitals throughout the state of Nebraska, including in Lincoln, Valentine, at Offutt Air Force Base, and in Nebraska City. On July 28, 1974, Rojean married David Lamprecht at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Valentine, NE. Together they raised two sons, Scott and Jeffrey.

Religion was very important to RoJean and she was a very active member of her church. She even volunteered at the Louisville Care Center for many years, assisting with religious classes. RoJean loved completing crossword puzzles and was always very interested in what was happening in the national politics.

She is survived by her husband, David Lamprecht of Weeping Water, NE, her brother, Ray (Barbara) Leising of Lincoln, NE, her grandchildren Donovan Morgaridge, Lilyan Morgaridge and Eden Venteicher, her nephew, Brian Liesing and niece, Christina Howe.

RoJean is preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Scott Morgaridge and Jeffery Lamprecht.

A rosary was held Monday, October 25, 2021 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Manley, NE.

Burial was Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine, NE.

Visitation was one hour before the Rosary at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Manley, NE.

The family suggests memorials to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
