July 21, 1941- September 19, 2026 Timothy Edwin Baca entered into the kingdom of heaven on September 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Timothy was the youngest of nine children born to Juan Rosendo and Benina Zamora Baca.

Timothy was married to Linda Welch in 1963, and to this union five children were born; Timothy Jr., Kathleen, Elizabeth, Robert and John. They later divorced.

After graduating high school, Tim moved to Denver and worked as a bellhop at the Hilton.

During the summers, he painted houses. He was also employed by Denver Public Schools as a custodian and was proud to oversee numerous schools.

Upon retirement, Timothy moved to Nebraska. While there, he found love again and married Barb Park in 2001. He gained four additional children; Gillian, Wade, Wendee and Rilee.

During retirement, Tim stayed busy fishing, hunting and working in the yard and garden. In the winter he could be found playing cards or shooting pool at “The Bank”.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Benina; siblings, Gilbert, Felix, Leonie, Leroy, Nina, Rosie and Tony; son-in-law, Gene Benzing; grandchild, Timothy Benzing and his loyal hunting dog, Duke.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Barb; sisters, Cecilia and Gail; five children, Timothy Baca Jr., Kathleen Benzing, Elizabeth (Jason) Prothro, Robert Baca and John Baca; four stepchildren, Gillian (Matt) Nicholas, Wade (Carol) Park, Wendee Hoyt and Rilee (Jason) Daffer; 29 grandchildren, Jerrica (Marcus) Sanchez, Stephanie Kimbrough, Chris and Brian (Hannah) Benzing, Madelyn, Ruby, Audrey and Josie Baca, Sarah, Amelia, Holleigh and Caelyn Baca, Taylor (Amy), Evan and Ashton Nicholas, Kade Rittenhouse, JW Perry, Nora, Rory and Monroe Park, Kaedyn Niemeyer, Justyse, Kolyns, Jayse and Josephyne Masters, Kiersten and Kennedy Geiger, Aria and Blair Daffer, plus numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins of “Baca Nation.”

Cremation was chosen and memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday morning, October 24, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cambridge with Pastor Dan Wiese officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
