WAYNE W. KELLER
Wayne W. Keller, 93, of Eustis, passed away March 15, 2026, at Cozad Community Hospital.
Wayne was born on September 20, 1932, to Clarence and Alice (Berke) Keller. He attended District 44 near Eustis through the seventh grade. He finished his education and graduated from Eustis High School in 1949. Wayne worked on the family farm, where he developed a lifelong passion for farming and ranching.
On August 21, 1955, Wayne was united in marriage to Nancy Jobman. Together they made their home on the Gottleib Keller farm.
Three sons were born to this union: Bert, Brad and Bill.
Wayne was an active member of St. Johns’s Lutheran Church, where he participated in the choir and served on the church council. He was a longtime member of the Eustis Lions Club and a Melvin Jones Fellow. In addition, he served on the Creamery Board and the Elevator Board and was a charter member of the Cozad Elks Club.
Wayne’s love was not always expressed in words, but in the long hours he worked, the sacrifices he made, and the unwavering commitment he gave each day. His spirit will live on in every sunrise over the fields and in every harvest that follows.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Nancy. He is also survived by his sons, Bert (Cheryl), Brad (Marcia), and Bill (Julie). He leaves behind his sisters, Evelyn Bartruff and Janice (Kermit) Smith, brother Dean (Dianne), and sister-in-law Mary Keller. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kylie, Kane, Allie, Justin, Chad, Weston, and Landon. He was a greatgrandfather to eighteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth and brother-in-law Bob Bartruff .
A memorial service was held Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Kathy Gundell officiating. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome. com.
