Memorial Services for Marguerite M. “Rita” Longsine will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Father Rick Moon officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the Stamford Cemetery at Stamford, Nebraska, at a later date.

Leisa L. Beat, age 71, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was born at Spokane, Washington on April 7, 1949 to Flann Root and Marjorie Louise Bellamy.

Delores “Dolly” M Sauers age 90 of Indianola, NE passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on February 16, 2021. She was born on August 10, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, to William and Mae (Howell) Morrow. Dolly grew up in the Pittsburgh are graduating high school from Stowe High School in 1947.

Kent Meyers, 75, a longtime resident of McCook, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away Sunday evening, March 7, 2021 at Bryan Medical Center West Campus in Lincoln. Alan Kent Meyers was born to Hugh and Helen (Loomis) Meyers on November 14, 1945 in McCook, Nebraska.

Bennie G. Desmond, formerly of McCook, passed away at Decatur Health in Oberlin, KS on March 9, 2021. He entered this world on February 11, 1930 to Harry F and Georgia L. (Fisher) Desmond. He was 91 years old.

Steve Marble age 67, of Omaha passed away on March 11, 2021. Steve was a 1971 graduate of Cambridge High School.

Funeral Services for Beth Stephens were held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska, with Chaplain DeWane Dow officiating. Interment will follow at the Orleans Cemetery, Orleans, Nebraska.

Lana Louise Kester of Oxford went to be with her Savior on March 2, 2021. She was 8o years old. Lana was born on June 8, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Dr. Howard L Kester DVM and May Louise (mayo Kester. The first few years of her life were spent in Cambridge, NE, Little Rock, AR and Silver Springs, MD. Her father was a Federal Veterinarian and in the Army. The family moved to Cambridge when the WWII ended. They moved to the family farm near Orafino in Frontier County. She attended grade school in Orafino. Then Lana moved to the Martin Luther Home in Beatrice, NE. In 1975 Lana moved to Oxford, NE where she spent the rest of her life living and working at the MidNebraska Individual Services.

Jeramy K. Underwood, 3o, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home in Lexington.

Cloyd Clark, 78, of McCook died Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Kearney Regional Hospital. Viewing was Monday, March 8, 2021, at Herrmann-Jones Mortuary.
